Comparing Different Diecast Cars

When you see them on pictures you cannot see the big differences in the quality. But when you have the cars you can really compare everything and you really understand why AUTOart is pretty much twice as expensive as the Hotwheels Sexosexo cars.

For example when you look at the seats 1957 58 Topps basketball cards the Hotwheels diecast car you really feel how cheap and plastic the interiors are compared to AUTOart diecast cars. On AUTOart cars you still feel the plastic feel, but its much more detailed and it doesnt feel as much of a toy as the Hotwheel cars does.

Its the same story when you compare the wheels and tires of the cars, you really can see how AUTOart has put more of an effort to make it look like the real thing, while the wheels and tires of Hotwheels diecast feels like they were rushed.

When you look at the paint finnish of the modelcars from Hotwheels, this is an area where I think the quality is almost as good as AUTOarts. You can easily see that this is and area Hotwheels spend much of their time/money on.

So back to the original question, is it worth spending twice the price of a Hotwheel model to get a car made by AUTOart? In my opinion yes, as I see diecast cars as something very exclusive and something Im very proud of. I rather have 5 diecast cars, which are of very high quality than 10 toycars.
